The All-devouring Whale: Homecoming donghua is set to debut in Japan in July through Fuji TV’s B8station slot.
The Chinese animated series is known in Japan as Tensei Soushu no Hadoutan ~Subete o Nomikomu Sakana to Haiagaru~. A teaser trailer and visual were unveiled, but details regarding the Japanese voice cast have yet to be revealed.

The All-devouring Whale: Homecoming began streaming on Bilibili on May 1. Bilibili outlines the story as follows:
Fan Lingxiao is a talented spirit pet master in Lingxiao Sect, but he is betrayed during a top sect competition and devoured by his own spirit pet whale Kun. He awakens as Liu Fengmang, a teenager imprisoned within Bai’s Residence. Concurrently, Lingxiao Sect faces collapse. To uncover the truth behind being consumed by his spirit pet and to restore his sect, Fan Lingxiao embarks on a journey with his remaining spirit pets, along with Gu Ling, Cheng Xi, and Yue Tong.
The animation is produced by Big Firebird Cultural Media Co., Ltd and is adapted from a manhua by Mo.
Fuji TV’s B8station launched in October 2023 and is a joint venture with bilibili, aiming to air Japanese versions of popular donghua sourced from bilibili.
