©とびらの・仲倉千景／双葉社・「ずたぼろ令嬢」製作委員会The Betrothed to my Sister’s Ex TV anime has released its second trailer and key visual, along with a premiere date set for July 4 JST (effectively July 5 at 1:53 PM JST).
The theme songs and new cast members have also been revealed. The theme songs include krage‘s “Gesshoku” (the opening) and Myuk’s “Marie” (ending). The additional cast features:

©とびらの・仲倉千景／双葉社・「ずたぼろ令嬢」製作委員会Betrothed to my Sister’s Ex is adapted from the manga by Chikage Nakakura, which is based on a light novel series (both published by Futabasha) penned by Tobirano and illustrated by Mai Murasaki (who is credited as the original character designer in the anime). Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga as:
Marie has lived her life in her sister’s shadow, growing up in a poor baron’s household. Everything nice was given to her sister, leaving Marie without even a decent dress! Just when her sister was about to be married off to a rich Earl, disaster strikes and her sister is tragically killed on the way. With the dowry already spent, it is decided that Marie will substitute for her sister and be the Earl’s betrothed. However, upon arrival, she discovers a huge mix-up—the proposal was a complete misunderstanding! Will Marie be able to capture the handsome Earl’s heart, or is she destined for a life devoid of joy?
