Created by Nagae Haruyoshi, the music video portrays a three-piece band performing the song on a ruined, uncovered pedestrian bridge. The post-processing, shading, and colors work together to create a sweltering atmosphere, whose intensity is matched by the strength of the music.
Haruyoshi tweeted that they explored various techniques for the production of this animation and that the video was constantly on their mind for two years.
“Natsu no Owari” was originally a 2023 song, but had its digital release on September 1, 2025 JST. Natsu no Owari, a Vocaloid producer who utilizes the Vocaloid Yuzuki Yukari, cites it as one of their representative works.
