BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA unveiled the preview for Episode 8 on Tuesday. The episode is titled “Gold Star” and is set to premiere on Thursday, August 6 at 11:00 PM JST. Daiki Uchida is at the helm directing the episode while Kenta Sasaki handles the storyboard, and the scriptwriter is Yotsuji Haibuchi. NICHICALINE is behind the animation of the series with Osamu Nobusawa and Mochipuyo working on character designs.
The episode’s synopsis is as follows:

Mugendai Mewtype (Yumemita) consists of five female VTubers: Nakamachi Arale (vocals), Miyanaga Nonoka (lead guitar), Minetsuki Ritsu (rhythm guitar), Fuji Miyako (keyboard), and Sengoku Yuno (DJ). This band is the only one among the 10 principal bands in the franchise that lacks a bassist or a drummer.
Muse Asia characterizes the series as:
