A fresh teaser trailer has been released for Season 2 of Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation, set to premiere on Disney+ in December. The preview for the upcoming chapter, titled ~Episode of Savanaclaw~, was unveiled on the Disney+ Japan YouTube channel; check it out below.
The teaser gives fans their initial glimpse of Season 2’s protagonist Yuuka Hirasaka, voiced by Fairouz Ai (Power in Chainsaw Man, Delta in The Eminence in Shadow). Yuuka is a high school student who gets transported to Twisted-Wonderland after encountering a mysterious carriage while returning home from a judo tournament.
As per the video description, the new plot will center around a sinister scheme taking shape within Savanaclaw Dorm, spurred by Leona Kingscholar’s “hidden resolve and twisted emotions.” Leona is voiced by Yuichiro Umehara (known for his role in Goblin Slayer). Season 2 will also introduce characters Jack Howl (Taito Ban) and Ruggie Bucchi (Aoi Ichikawa).
Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation is based on the popular mobile game — a school adventure featuring characters inspired by Disney villains. The game was developed with character designs by manga artist Yana Toboso (Black Butler). The first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, was released in October 2025 and quickly became the most-watched Japanese animated series on Disney+ worldwide in its inaugural week. The show also received a nomination for Best Isekai at the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. A third season, Episode of Octavinelle, is in the works.

Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation is managed by chief director and series composition writer Takahiro Natori (Tokyo Mew Mew New), along with series director Shin Katagai (The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party, Became Invincible), head writer Yoichi Kato (You and Idol PreCure), and character designers Haruka Nakano and Akane Sato. The series is produced by Yumeta Company and Graphinica.
Series Synopsis:
In the magical realm of Twisted-Wonderland, seven legendary figures known as the Great Seven have achieved immortality. Drawing inspiration from seven iconic Disney Villains: the Queen of Hearts, the King of Beasts (Scar), the Sea Witch (Ursula), the Sorcerer of the Sands (Jafar), the Fairest Queen (Evil Queen), the King of the Underworld (Hades), and the Thorn Fairy (Maleficent), the deeds of these characters ultimately led to the establishment of seven magical dormitories at Night Raven College, an elite academy for aspiring mages.
