Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle is based on the light novel series crafted by Hiromu and illustrated by raemz. Yen Press outlines the storyline as follows:
Being popular isn’t a simple task. It’s challenging to surpass Saku Chitose. The most admired student in his high school? Confirmed. A reputation so strong that it can withstand ruthless online scrutiny? Confirmed. A circle of friends as appealing on the outside as they are within? Confirmed. But when an educator requests his assistance in reaching out to a classmate who has isolated himself in his room for months, Saku’s flawless existence will be altered forever. Is this some sort of typical normie harem tale…?
The light novel series launched in 2019, boasting nine primary volumes as of August 2024. The volumes are illustrated by raemz and distributed under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko label. A manga adaptation has also been released by Square Enix.
