Did feudal Japan have a golden age?
Feudal Japan experienced multiple "golden ages" throughout its history, from the Heian period to the Edo period. During these times, Japan saw cultural achievements such as literature and woodblock prints, economic growth through increased trade with Europe and Asia, and political stability due to consolidation of power by powerful rulers like Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu. These eras helped shape modern day Japanese society.
