Does Japan have a 2 child policy?
The Japanese government introduced the 2 Child Policy in 2017 to incentivize couples to have two children instead of one or none. This policy includes tax breaks, subsidies for childcare and education expenses, and flexible working hours for employees with two or more children. There are both criticisms and potential benefits associated with this policy; only time will tell whether its various incentives will be enough convince couples to have more children.
