Is Japan water hard or soft?
Japan's water can be either hard or soft depending on the region. Some regions have hard water, while others have soft water. Hard water contains high levels of dissolved minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which can cause scaling in pipes and appliances and make it difficult to get soap to lather. Soft water contains low levels of dissolved minerals, making it gentle on pipes and appliances and easier for soap to lather. While both types of water have their pros and cons, it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
