This article explores the dark side of Japan, which includes economic struggles, social issues, crime and corruption, discrimination and prejudice, mental health challenges, and a lack of diversity. These issues have been caused by various factors such as an aging population, stagnant wages, income inequality, gender inequality, poverty and homelessness. Efforts to address these issues are being made but there is still much work left to be done in order to create a more equitable society for everyone living in Japan.
