This article discusses the gender inequality issue in Japan that has been present for centuries. It explores the causes and effects of gender inequality, as well as how the government, businesses, civil society organizations, and international organizations are working to address this issue. The article also highlights the importance of all stakeholders continuing to work together towards creating a more equitable society where everyone can thrive without fear in order to achieve true equality between genders.
