What is lacking in Japan?
Japan is one of the most developed countries in the world, yet there are still some areas where it is lagging behind. This article looks at some of these challenges, such as a rapidly aging population, lack of women in leadership roles, low birth rates, poor quality education system, declining economic growth and limited English proficiency as well as increasing inequality and poverty rates. To address these issues it is essential that authorities prioritize investment into certain sectors while also implementing targeted government interventions such as affirmative action policies and minimum wage increases. Doing so would enable Japan to remain competitive globally and ensure a brighter future ahead.
