The Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback anime film has grossed over 10.4 billion yen (~US$72.5 million), positioning it as the 43rd highest-grossing film in Japan.

Moreover, it ranks as the third highest-grossing Detective Conan film, following Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram (14th in Japan with 15.8 million yen) and Detective Conan: The Black Submarine (19th with 13.88 billion yen).

The storyline of the 28th Detective Conan movie revolves around the Mouri Detective Agency receiving a call from “Wani,” a former associate of Kogoro’s, who brings to light a case file associated with an avalanche that involved Kansuke.
