The anime is scheduled to debut in the Fall 2025 anime season.
May I Ask for One Final Thing? originated as a web novel on Alphapolis in April 2018. A light novel series commenced publication in August 2018, followed by a manga illustrated by original author Nana Otori. Alpha Manga summarizes the story as:
During a ball, Scarlet’s fiancé, Kyle, unexpectedly ends their engagement. She finds herself wrongly accused of bullying, leading society to label her a “Villainess.” The aristocrats and noble households denounce her. For years, she has endured his mistreatment, but she finally reaches her breaking point! In her final plea, she requests one last thing; to deliver a good punch to his face. Thus begins Scarlet’s journey of vengeance against Kyle and his associates! A fantastical tale of a graceful yet defiant fighter who refuses to let others exploit her!
The May I Ask for One Final Thing? light novel features illustrations by Satsuki, while the manga is illustrated by Sora Hoonoki.
