The second season premiered in Japan on July 9, 2025, and is set to run for 12 episodes.
The original light novel series was penned by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. It debuted with Kodansha’s Ranobe Bunko on July 2, 2020, and has produced 10 volumes by July 2025. The series originated as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 31, 2019.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Yosuke Kokuzawa commenced serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket platform on June 27, 2020. Nineteen tankobon volumes have been published as of May 2025. Kodansha USA handles the English releases of the manga series.
A spinoff manga by Keiri Amamiya was introduced in Magazine Pocket on February 17, 2024.

Jin Tamamura (director of A Sister’s All You Need) is at the helm of the anime adaptation, with Naoki Tozuka (T.P. Sakura: Time Paladin Sakura) as the series screenwriter and script writer, Naru Nishikori (Shadowverse Flame in-between checker) as character designer and chief animation director, Yuuichi Abe (director of Superior Defender Gundam Force) handling action direction, and R.O.N providing the music.<br />
