Fidelio Aureus MagnusToilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2 has unveiled a fresh key visual along with a brief trailer for the latter half of the season.
The trailer includes a new opening theme song titled “Kagome Kagome,” performed by Masayoshi Oishi.
Additionally, the series has announced a new ending theme song called “mo∞ent,” sung by Akira Kito, who voices Nene in the series. A new cast member and character have also been disclosed — Jun Fukuyama will be voicing Shinigami-san, who symbolizes the sixth of the seven wonders.
The latter half of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2 is set to debut in Japan on July 6 JST.
Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is a manga series written by Iro and illustrated by Aida. It initiated serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy in 2014, and as of June 2025, 23 volumes have been published. The 24th volume of the manga will be released in Japan on June 26, 2025 JST.
The series has inspired anime adaptations as well as 2.5D musicals. The initial season of the anime aired in 2020, while a brief anime adaptation spin-off, After-school Hanako-kun, was released in 2023. Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2 first premiered in 2024.
Crunchyroll is streaming the first season and the first half of the second season. Yen Press has secured the license and is publishing the manga in English, describing the series as:
“Hanako-san, Hanako-san…are you there?” At Kamome Academy, numerous rumors circulate regarding the school’s Seven Mysteries, one of which is Hanako-san. Said to inhabit the third stall of the third-floor girls’ bathroom in the old school building, Hanako-san is believed to grant any wish when summoned. Nene Yashiro, an occult enthusiast in high school who dreams of romance, ventures into this haunted bathroom…but the Hanako-san she encounters there is far from what she had imagined!
