The series went on a prolonged hiatus before concluding on December 22, 2020 due to the health decline of Gureishi. A total of six tankobon volumes were released in Japan. The manga is also accessible digitally in English on the Azuki manga app and service.
The manga inspired a TV anime adaptation in 2020 produced by Satelight and Hornets, with Crunchyroll co-producing and streaming the series globally, excluding Japan.
