The upcoming Peleliu -Rakuen no Guernica- anime film, which takes place during the Battle of Peleliu in 1944, has unveiled its main trailer and visual.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that Mone Kamishiraishi‘s “Kiseki no Yo na Koto” (featured in the trailer) will serve as the theme song.
©︎武田一義・白泉社/2025「ペリリュー ―楽園のゲルニカ―」製作委員会Peleliu -Rakuen no Guernica- is adapted from the manga by Kazuyoshi Takeda, published by Hakusensha and serialized in Young Animal. The manga has been compiled into 11 volumes, released between 2016 and 2021.
The film is set to debut in Japan on December 5, JST. 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the Second World War.
