The “NARUTO: What’s Next?” special stage at New York Comic Con 2026 will announce fresh insights regarding a new Naruto TV anime limited series, VIZ Media shared today.
The event is scheduled to occur at the Javits Center’s Empire Stage on Saturday, October 10 — coinciding with the birthday of Naruto Uzumaki — from 5 to 6 p.m. EDT, and will be broadcasted live globally on the NARUTO / BORUTO Official YouTube Channel.
In Japan, the livestream will be available from 6 to 7 a.m. JST on Sunday, October 11.
Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama, who lend their voices to Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha in the Japanese-language anime, will take the stage. They will be joined by Yoshihiro Tominaga from Studio Pierrot, executive producer at Pierrot Films. The stage will further provide updates on the Naruto Card Game, set to launch in 2027.

Naruto is a shonen manga created by Masashi Kishimoto that was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump, starting in 1999 and finishing its run in 2014 with the 700th chapter. The narrative follows Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja striving to become the Hokage, the leader of The Hidden Leaf Village, while overcoming intense battles with adversaries and reconciling past grievances. The manga editions, available in over 60 territories, have surpassed 250 million copies sold.
The Naruto anime series premiered on TV Tokyo in 2002, and from 2007 it aired as Naruto Shippuden until March 2017. Additionally, eleven theatrical anime films have been produced. The anime is presently aired in over 145 countries and regions globally. The franchise has also expanded into apps, games, merchandise, special events, 2.5D musicals, music festivals, and kabuki.
New York Comic Con will occur from Thursday, October 8, to Sunday, October 11, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
