Creepy Nuts‘ “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” (the opening song for MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc) received several accolades, including Best Japanese Song, Best Japanese Hip Hop/Rap Song, Best Japanese Dance Pop Song, Best Viral Song, Top Japanese Song in Europe, Top Japanese Song in North America, and Top Japanese Song in Latin America.
YOASOBI‘s “IDOL” (OSHI NO KO Season 1’s opening song) earned the titles of Best Anime Song and Best Music Video, while King Gnu‘s “Specialz” (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 second opening song) was honored as Best J-Rock Song.
Other anime-related wins include Hitsujibungaku‘s “More Than Words” (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 second ending song) in the Best Japanese Alternative Song category and Nujabes‘ “aruarian dance” (a track from Samurai Champloo).

The results of the Music Awards Japan 2025’s six main categories — Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Top Global Hit from Japan, and Best Song Asia — will be revealed later during the Grand Ceremony that starts on May 22 at 7:15 PM JST. “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born,” “IDOL,” and Mrs. GREEN APPLE‘s “Lilac” (Oblivion Battery opening) are in the running for Song of the Year, with “IDOL” also having a Top Global Hit from Japan nomination.
Additionally, Creepy Nuts, YOASOBI, and Mrs. GREEN APPLE are contenders for Artist of the Year alongside Vaundy and Kaze Fujii.
