Captivated, by You Highlights Opening Theme in New Main Trailer, Let’s Go Karaoke! Gets Original Episode

A new main trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming Captivated, by You anime adaptation, featuring its opening theme song “Rubble” performed by Keina Suda. The anime is set to premiere in Japan on August 21, 2025, following the conclusion of the currently airing Let’s go Karaoke!

Additionally, it has been confirmed that the Let’s Go Karaoke! anime series will have an original episode occurring the day after the yakuza karaoke competition. This original episode will air after the first five episodes of Captivated, by You have been broadcast.

Asami Nakatani (Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirage) will be directing the Captivated, by You anime, with Yoshimi Narita (Twilight Out of Focus, Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) as the screenwriter, Yukiko Tsukahara (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 9 co-director) as assistant director, Mai Matsuura (The Stories of Girls Who Couldn’t Be Magicians, King of Prism by Pretty Rhythm) as the character designer, and Takuro Iga (OSHI NO KO) as the music composer. Animation production will be handled by Doga Kobo. 
The same team is also involved in the Let’s Go Karaoke! anime, which started airing in Japan on July 24, 2025. 
The main voice cast of Captivated, by You will feature:

• • Koki ​Uchiyama as Jouji Ema 
• • Nobuhiko Okamoto as Akira Nikaidou
• • Yuki Ono as Yuichi Medaka

Meanwhile, the voice cast of Let’s Go Karaoke! includes Shun Horie as Satomi Oka, Daisuke Ono as Kyoji Narita, and Shinnosuke Tokudome as Wada. 
Yama Wayama’s Let’s Go Karaoke! and Captivated, by You manga are singular volume titles released under Enterbrain’s Beam Comics imprint, having originally appeared as doujin. Yen Press publishes both comic series in English for the North American market.
