A new character visual has been revealed for the upcoming second season of Chained Soldier, showcasing the leader of the fifth squad, Yakumo Ezo. The second season is set to premiere in Japan in January 2026.Â
 will direct the second season, with Keiya Nakano (Loner Life in Another World) as character designer and Yasuhiro Nakanishi (reprising) serving as screenwriter. Passione and Hayabusa Film are handling the animation production, with the latter taking over from SevenArcs, who produced season one.  <br />
