Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle Unveils New Visual of Yuzuki Nanase

A fresh visual of Yuzuki Nanase has been unveiled for the upcoming Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle TV anime series, depicting the character sitting in an underpass to avoid the rain. The anime is set to start broadcasting in Japan on October 7, 2025, and will continue for two split cours. REMOW has secured the licensing for the anime series.

This marks the second visual in the anime’s “Chiramune Fukui Graffiti” initiative, showcasing characters from the series interwoven into live-action images of Fukui captured by local photographer tomosaki.

The initial visual from this photo series was unveiled earlier this past July, showcasing several of the main characters.
Yuji Tokuno is helming the anime series, with Naruhisa Arakawa (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers) serving as series screenwriter along with co-scriptwriters Hiromu and Sumie Kinoshita (Spy Classroom), who also handles character design. Feel. is overseeing the animation production.
In addition, the anime’s main voice cast encompasses:

• Shogo Sakata as Saku Chitose
• Manaka Iwami as Yuko Hiiragi
• Hina Yomiya as Yua Uchida
• Ikumi Hasegawa as Yuzuki Nanase
• Rumi Okubo as Haru Aomi
• Chika Anzai as Asuka Nishino

The anime adaptation marks the directorial debut for Tokuno, who previously served as storyboard artist and episode director for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20, OSHI NO KO Episode 10, and YAIBA: Samurai Legend Episode 6.
The original light novel series is authored by Hiromu and illustrated by raemz. It was first published under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko label on June 18, 2019, and has released nine main volumes as of August 2024, including two short story collections. Yen Press has obtained the English release rights for the light novels.
The series also inspired a manga adaptation by Bobcat from 2020 to 2025. It was published by Square Enix, with Yen Press additionally releasing it in English.
