The primary voice cast and staff details have been disclosed for the previously announced short anime adaptation of Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?, set to debut in Japan in January 2026.
The on-air voice cast features Ayaka Shimizu as Akane Tsuda and Marika Hayase as Nadeshiko. Aogiri High School VTuber Komaru Kurikoma has been cast in a guest role as Ito-san.

Ⓒ焼肉定食・一迅社/ウェイブ Neko B is directing and scripting the screenplay for the short anime series, with Mitsuru Tsukiumi serving as character designer and color designer, and ZincP as the music composer. Nyan Pollution-ω- is responsible for the animation production.
Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android? marks the fourth anime title under WWWave Corporation‘s Deregula label (inspired by the term “deregulation”), following Makina-san’s a Love Bot?!, Yandere Dark Elf, and Hitozuma no Kuchibiru.
The original manga by Yakinikuteishoku has been serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime since July 16, 2021. As of May 2025, six tankobon volumes have been published.
