© 本郷あきよし・フジテレビ・東映アニメーションFollowing June’s visual of protagonist Tomoro Tenma and his digimon partner Gekkomon, the upcoming Digimon Beatbreak TV anime has revealed character visuals for its other main characters: Reina Sakuya + Pristimon, Makoto Kuonji + Chiropmon, and Kyo Sawashiro along with Murasamemon.
The three were previously featured in the anime’s main trailer and visual from July. Together with Tomoro, they form the bounty hunting team Golden Dawn, with Tomoro being the latest addition.
Digimon Beatbreak is scheduled to debut on October 5 JST. The synopsis states:
“e-Pulse,” generated by human thoughts and emotions, serves as the energy source for the AI support device “Sapotama.”
From the depths of this groundbreaking development, horrifying monsters emerge.
Digimon are living creatures that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.
After encountering Gekkomon, who materializes from his Sapotama, Tomoro Tenma becomes embroiled in an extraordinary adventure.
While cohabitating with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team “Golden Dawn,” Tomoro reinvigorates his determination.
What new future will arise through the partnership of humans and Digimon?
Digimon Beatbreak was first announced in March, teasing “Emotion-devouring digital lifeforms.” This marks the third Digimon TV anime to launch this decade, following 2020’s Digimon Adventure and 2021’s Digimon Ghost Game.
