REMOW has revealed some global streaming services for the Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube anime series. Additionally, the creditless opening animation for the show has been shared.
Netflix will present the upcoming series in Asian regions excluding Japan and China, while REMOW’s It’s Anime YouTube Channel will offer the show in “limited territories.” Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube will also be available on:
• aniverse (German-speaking areas)
• ANIME GENERATION (Italian-speaking areas)
• Anime Onegai (Latin America)
• Chunghwa Telecom’s MOD and Hami Video (exclusive to “the Taiwan region” for the first four months)
The simulcast will begin on July 3 at 12:45 AM (JST).
Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube is a fresh adaptation of the Jigoku Sensei Nube manga created by Sho Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano. The storyline is summarized as:
A series of mysterious events has been affecting the town of Domori. To safeguard the town’s children, a new homeroom teacher, known as “Nube,” arrives.
A typically gentle and somewhat sociable person, Nube harbors a hidden truth: he is the only psychic teacher in Japan. It is rumored that his left hand is possessed by a demon!
The messenger of justice from hell is ready to confront the school’s seven mysteries, ghosts, and malevolent spirits that threaten his students. This action-packed occult tale is about to unfold!

The series will have an hour-long premiere featuring the first two episodes. It is set to debut in Japan on July 2 at 11:15 PM JST.
The original manga first appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 1993 and continued until 1999. It was succeeded by Jigoku Sensei Nube NEO and Jigoku Sensei Nube S, alongside spin-offs Reibaishi Izuna and Reibaishi Izuna: Ascension. A new manga titled Jigoku Sensei Nube Kai was launched in May 2025.
The previous Jigoku Sensei Nube anime series produced by Toei Douga (now Toei Animation) aired from 1996 to 1997. The manga has also inspired a live-action drama.
