© MS,HJ/UGP.HIDIVE announced today that it has acquired the rights to My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge! television anime series as part of its Fall 2025 simulcast lineup. The release is set to premiere in Japan on October 3, 2025.
The series will be streamed exclusively on HIDIVE in both the U.S. and Canada, as well as in select English-speaking regions including the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. An official English subtitled trailer has also been released.
HIDIVE also lists the anime with the abbreviated English title My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha.
Katsushi Sakurabi (Flying Witch, Lostorage incited WIXOSS, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion) is at the helm of the anime series as director, with Hiroshi Onogi (Blue Archive: The Animation [co-credits], Idol Memories) serving as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, alongside character designer Yukie Suzuki (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy). J.C.STAFF is responsible for the animation production.
Currently, the voice cast of the anime includes:

The anime adapts the fantasy light novel series authored by Meikyou Shisui and illustrated by tef. It was first published by Hobby Japan’s HJ Novels imprint on May 19, 2021, and has released 12 volumes as of April 2025. The story originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in April 2020.
J-Novel Club has licensed the light novels for English publication under the title Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon (with the complete English title being Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World).
A manga adaptation by Takafumi Oomae commenced publication in May 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment has secured the rights to publish the manga in English.
