© Chinjaogirl, Nogami Tama, KODANSHA/WWWaveA new main trailer has dropped for the anticipated Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Can Chuhai no Aji ga Shite TV anime series, showcasing the primary opening theme song. The series is slated to air in Japan starting July 1, 2025, consisting of eight episodes and an OVA. The opening theme highlighted in the trailer is “Can’t you high!?” performed by Uzuho, a Japanese singer.
Hajime Keima is at the helm directing the series and penning the screenplay, while Yoriko Karei handles character and color design, Yutaka Aota takes the role of art director, Tomohiro Hayashi serves as director of photography, and Fumihiko Odera is the sound director. The animation production is being managed by Raiose.
The voice cast for the anime’s “on-air version” includes:

Deregula label, a part of WWWave Corporation, is producing the anime and will offer two versions: a censored “broadcast edition” and an uncensored “Deregula edition.” The latter will be available on Blu-ray and DVD and will stream exclusively on the AnimeFesta service.

The erotic comedy romance manga is authored by Chinjao Musume and illustrated by Tama Nogami. It began serialization on Kodansha’s YanMaga Web manga platform on February 17, 2021. The series has been compiled into digital volumes and also published in physical full-color editions under the title Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuhai no Aji ga Shite: Zeitaku Full Color Strong Han. As of May 2025, 22 digital volumes have been released, with the first three available in print.
