Kakegurui Stage Play Unveils Teaser Visual and Cast, Set to Perform in September 2025

The psychological thriller manga series, Kakegurui 一 Compulsive Gambler, is set to have a 2.5D stage play adaptation. A teaser visual featuring the main character Yumeko Jabami has also been unveiled.

Additional cast includes:

• Kurisu Oto as Midari Ikishima
• Misato Kawauchi as Itsuki Sumeragi
• Fuyuna Asakura as Yuriko Nishinotouin
• Yuuka Muyayama (a member of J-pop idol group ≒JOY) as Yumemi Yumemite
• Momoka Satake as Runa Yomozuki
• Hiroki Sasamori as Kaede Manyuda
• Ayaka Umeda as Kiari Momobami

The stage play is being directed by Daisuke Nishida, who is recognized for his work on other stage play adaptations including Vinland Saga The Stage, Moriarty The Patriot The Stage, the Blood Blockade Battlefront stage play series, and the Joker Game stage play series.
Kakegurui 一 Compulsive Gambler Stage will be presented at Theater H in Tokyo, Japan, from Friday, September 5th to Sunday, September 14th, 2025 JST. An advance ticket lottery for the stage play will be available. The application for the lottery can be found in the May edition of Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine and will run from May 22nd, 12 PM JST to June 8, 2025, 11:59 PM JST.
