Marie & Kyros Discover Their Happily Ever After in the New Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex Key Visual

A new key visual has been revealed for the Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex TV anime series, featuring the main characters Marie and Kyros. The anime aired its 12th and final episode in Japan on September 19, 2025, following its premiere on July 4, 2025.

The original romance light novel series is authored by Tobirano and illustrated by Mai Murasaki (credited for the original character designs in the anime’s credits). It started as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in 2019. Futabasha published the light novels on April 15, 2020, and nine volumes have been released as of August 2025, with the latest six volumes offered as e-books. Seven Seas Entertainment holds the licensing for the English release.
Following was a manga adaptation by Chikage Nakakura, released on July 24, 2020. Seven Seas Entertainment has also made the manga available in English in both print and digital formats, with digital releases on Comico’s Pocket Comics website.
