New cast members have been announced, which includes Saima Nakano as Bridget, Yo Taichi as Isabel, Shuntaro Hara as Toby, Kappei Yamaguchi as Carl, and Rieko Takahashi as Charlotte.
Mechanical Marie is adapted from Aki Akimoto‘s romantic comedy manga, featuring the character Marie, a former talented martial artist who now serves as a maid for zaibatsu heir Arthur and pretends to be a robot due to Arthur’s cold and misanthropic demeanor. The anime synopsis states:
“Finally complete. Meet Marie, the mechanical maid.”
Once a genius martial artist, Marie is a human girl now hiding her identity and working disguised as a “mechanical maid” in the mansion of Arthur, the heir to an influential conglomerate who has a disdain for humans. —If her real identity is revealed, it’s instant execution!?
Using her naturally expressionless face to her advantage, Marie effectively performs her duties as a “mechanical maid” while secretly shielding Arthur from the assassins who are constantly targeting his life. However, complications arise when the infatuated Arthur, who showers Marie with attention, dangerously nears uncovering her secret! Each day is filled with thrilling and precarious moments!

The manga began serialization in Hakusensha’s shojo magazine Monthly Lala in 2020 and published its sixth and concluding volume in September 2023.
