The Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy (Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi) TV anime has unveiled its first trailer, featuring the main character Kanan, a charming and simple-minded demon, alongside Yoji Kyogi, an air-headed and optimistic human. An April 2026 premiere window has also been announced.
While Kanan and Yoji take center stage, they’re not the only demon and human in the mix. The trailer showcases several other vibrant characters, and we’ve got the voice actor announcements for them as well:
• Sayumi Suzushiro is the holy woman Jeanne
• Maki Kawase is the succubus maid Ami
• Ayaka Nanase is Yoji’s childhood friend and classmate Nadeko Masurao
• Fuka Izumi is Kanan’s younger sister Milch Zebul
• Hikaru Tono is Kanan’s other younger sister Miel Zebul
• Yoshino Nanjo is Kanan’s mother Lilim Zebul
On the production side, Yasushi Muroya is helming the direction of Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy, with Hisashi Hisogawa serving as assistant director. Additional staff credits include Rintaro Ikeda (Insomniacs After School) as series composer, Akari Minagawa (Shabake) as character designer, and Chisa Shibata as sub-character designer. The animation production will be handled by Studio KAI, which was previously announced.
Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy is based on the romantic comedy manga published by Nonco under Kodansha. The manga began serialization in 2022 in Weekly Shonen Magazine and has 10 volumes as of July 2025.
