© Qruppo／青藍島観光協会A new trailer for the forthcoming 18+ anime Nukitashi the Animation has been unveiled.
Additionally, it was revealed that the opening theme is “Utopia or Dystopia” by Yuki Yumeno, while the closing theme is “Saikaikei Onna wa Dousurya Iidesuka?” by Rie Ayase.
Nukitashi the Animation is set to debut in Japan on July 18 JST. WWWave’s OceanVeil service will provide the uncensored “Seiran Island Version” and the “Fully Regulated Version” for “English-speaking audiences worldwide.”
The anime is adapted from the adult visual novel by Qruppo (full title Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Binnyuu wa Dousurya Iidesuka?, informally translated by its creators as What’s a Flat-Chested Girl like Me to Do on an Island Straight out of a Porn Game?). Shiravune outlines the game’s premise as:
Seiran Island, a tropical paradise where individuals are free to indulge their desires under a uniquely libertine law. Yet, even in this paradise, forces lurk in the shadows aiming to dismantle it…
United, these outcasts form the secret society NLNS.
As their founder and leader, I, Junnosuke Tachibana,
will not rest until we’ve abolished this insane law once and for all!
I’ve gained the support of a wealthy benefactor, identity unknown…
He’s provided us with a hidden base and substantial funds already.
In exchange, he requests we find someone and “protect her at all costs.”

The Nukitashi game was initially launched in Japan for Windows PC in 2018. It has a sequel and a manga adaptation illustrated by Mameojitan. The manga began serialization in Beaglee’s Manga Oukoku in 2020 and has physical volumes published by Shueisha. Nukitashi won the Scenario and New Brand awards at the Moe Game Award 2018, while Nukitashi 2 secured the grand prize at the Moe Game Award 2019.
