Are Japanese and Korean the same race?
This article examines the differences between Japanese and Korean people, exploring their history, genetics, culture, language, religion, and politics. It is found that there are some genetic distinctions between them as well as cultural differences such as individualism in Japan vs group harmony in Korea. Additionally, they have different languages and religions which further distinguishes them from one another. The political relationship between the two countries has been strained throughout history but their economies remain closely intertwined due to post-WWII trade agreements. In conclusion, it appears that despite having similar origins thousands of years ago there are still significant differences between modern day Japan and South Korea which makes it inaccurate to classify them under the same race.
