Are Japanese very hard working?
This article examines the history and impact of the Japanese work ethic on society. It looks at how it differs from other countries, its pros and cons, and provides examples of famous hardworking Japanese people such as Emperor Meiji, Soichiro Honda, Haruki Murakami, Shigeru Yoshida, Tadahiro Sekimoto, Masayoshi Son, Mamoru Mohri, Yuzuru Hanyu, Ayumi Hamasaki and Ken Watanabe. The traditional work ethic encourages productivity but can lead to burnout due to long working hours without proper rest or compensation. It also results in increased stress levels which could have long-term mental health implications.
