This article compares the economic data of South Korea and Japan to determine which country is wealthier. It looks at indicators such as GDP, unemployment rate, inflation rate, and per capita income. The analysis shows that Japan has a higher GDP than South Korea despite having only one quarter of its population size. Japan also has a lower unemployment rate, higher per capita income, and lower inflation rate than South Korea. However, other factors such as quality of healthcare services and education systems are not taken into account in the analysis and could affect overall wealth disparities between the two countries.
