The initial main trailer and an October premiere timeframe for the upcoming The Barbarian’s Bride anime adaptation have been unveiled.
It was further disclosed that the anime’s crew consists of:
• Director: Takayuki Tanaka (Synduality Noir Episode 10 and 20 director)
• Series composer: Miya Asakawa (Yutori-chan)
• Main character designer and co-chief animation director: Masayoshi Kikuchi (The Reincarnation Of The Strongest Exorcist In Another World co-character designer and co-chief animation director)

The Barbarian’s Bride is adapted from the manga by Noriaki Kotoba, which Seven Seas Entertainment summarizes as:
Serafina de Lavillant, the most formidable female knight in the West, was dispatched to conquer the barbaric tribes of the East. However, when her endeavor fails spectacularly, she is captured alive and imprisoned. Humiliated and fearing the dreadful torture awaiting her, she requests to be executed. To her astonishment, rather than tearing her apart, the tribe leader proposes her hand…in marriage! Will Serafina endure a harsh and abusive arranged marriage? Or will she find that these tribes aren’t as savage as she had been led to believe?
The manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine and has nine tankoubon volumes as of April 2025.
