30th Anniversary Blu-rays of EVANGELION Launch in December

An Evangelion Blu-ray release titled EVANGELION 30th Anniversary Movie Collection is scheduled to debut in Japan on December 10 JST.

There are three choices from this upcoming release, with the most significant being the “Shin Seiki Evangelion” + “Evangelion Shingekijouban” + “Shin Evangelion Gekijouban” Full Complete Blu-ray BOX. This limited first-run 28-disc box, priced at 110 thousand yen (~US$764.20), includes the four Rebuild of Evangelion films; the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series; as well as the films Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, The End of Evangelion, and Revival of Evangelion. Revival of Evangelion blends an updated version of Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (titled Evangelion: Death (True)²) with The End of Evangelion.

“Shin Seiki Evangelion” + “Evangelion Shingekijouban” + “Shin Evangelion Gekijouban” Full Complete Blu-ray BOX contains various versions of the Rebuild films, including Evangelion 1.01 Your Are (Not) Alone and Evangelion 1.11 Your Are (Not) Alone. The latest editions of the four films are offered in both Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray formats. Special features comprise video content and booklets.

Another first-run limited product from the EVANGELION 30th Anniversary Movie Collection release is the “Evangelion Shingekijouban” + “Shin Evangelion Gekijouban” Complete Blu-ray BOX, which brings together various Rebuild of Evangelion editions and is priced at 77,000 yen (~US$534.48). Similar to the Complete box, it includes both standard and 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays of the latest editions. The special features consist of two discs containing video content and the Explanation of Evangelion:1.01.

It offers just two discs of video content for its special features. This box is priced at 27,500 yen (~US$190.92).

Pre-orders for EVANGELION 30th Anniversary Movie Collection have commenced on various Japanese online platforms. Unfortunately, the releases appear to lack English subtitles.
