Made in Abyss is set to inspire a casual game for mobile devices. Nobollel Inc. is working on the game, titled Made in Abyss ~Doshigatai Fushigi na Tabi~.
Made in Abyss ~Doshigatai Fushigi na Tabi~ marks the first Made in Abyss title for smartphones and the second overall Made in Abyss game. In 2022, the action RPG Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness was released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

Made in Abyss ~Doshigatai Fushigi na Tabi~ was announced over two years after the reveal of a new sequel to the Made in Abyss anime adaptation. The original dark fantasy/adventure manga published by Akihito Tsukushi began in 2012 and inspired a 2017 TV anime series. This was followed by the anime movie Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul in 2020 and the 2022 release of Made in Abyss: The Sun Blazes Upon the Golden City.
