MarriageToxin, the action anime series that combines an elite assassin with a clever marriage swindler, is set to return for a second season in 2027. With new marriage prospects and fierce battles against the Masters, Gero’s journey towards finding the ultimate marriage is just beginning! An announcement preview was released alongside today’s news.
To celebrate the vow renewal for Season 2, heartfelt messages have been received from original story creator Joumyaku and manga artist Mizuki Yoda.

Series Synopsis: The “Masters” are the top assassins in the field. But Hikaru Gero, the heir to the Gero clan of Poison Masters, stands out even among them.

However, when his grandmother, the clan’s current head, insists that his sister, Akari, must produce an heir to continue the Poison Master lineage, he decides to marry to safeguard his sister’s future. The MarriageToxin anime series is produced by MarriageToxin Project with animation production by Bones Film and production supervision by Bones, alongside 3D CG services by Sanzigen and art by studio Bihou. The series is directed by Motonobu Hori, with series composition & script by Kimiko Ueno and character design & chief animation direction by Kohei Tokuoka.
The team also includes sub character designer Yurika Sako, costume designer Kotono, art designer Toshiki Amata, color designer Hiroko Umezaki, DP Go Kanbayashi, CG animation director Taiki Nagashima, editor Kumiko Sakamoto, and composers Tasiei Iwasaki and yuma yamaguchi. The opening theme is “Kill or Kiss” by Yurina Hirate; the ending theme is “Shake Na Baby” by AKASAKI.
