The trailer showcases a glimpse of the recently revealed ending theme song titled āSuiheisen wa Boku no Furukizuā performed by the characters Uzuki Hirokawa, Ikumi Akagi, Sara Himeji, and Toko Kirishima.

After facing various girls dealing with Puberty Syndrome, Sakuta Azusagawa has completed his high school journey and is now a university student. He attends a university in Kanazawa-hakkei alongside his girlfriend Mai Sakurajima, a famous actress nationwide. Outside of campus, he encounters a miniskirt Santa thatās out of season. āIām surprised. So, you can see me.ā This line feels familiar to him. This miniskirt Santa, who claims to be giving out Puberty Syndrome to people, reveals to Sakutaā¦ āMy nameā¦ is Touko Kirishima.ā Strange dreams, an anonymous online vocalist, poltergeists rampant on social mediaā¦ A mysterious narrative with puzzling phenomena surrounding girls with fluttering emotions begins anew. The Rascal Does Not Dreamanime started in 2018 with the Rascal Does Not Dreamof Bunny Girl SenpaiĀ TV series, followed by three films: 2019āsĀ Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming GirlĀ and 2023āsĀ Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing OutĀ andĀ Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid.
TheĀ light novel series, published under the Dengeki Bunko label, commenced in 2014 and concluded its final main volume in October 2024. A collection of short stories arrived in July 2025. Yen Press presents the premise as:
Bunny girls are not found in libraries. Thatās simply a matter of common sense. Yet, thatās where Sakuta encounters one in the wild. Even more perplexing is the identity of the bunny girl: Mai Sakurajima, a year his senior, renowned at their school for her successful acting career, despite her current hiatus. Adding to the mystery, it appears nobody else in the library can see Mai at all, regardless of what she does orā¦ wears. Eager to unravel this enigma and perhaps get closer to the stunning upperclassman in the process, Sakuta embarks on a quest to uncover why an unforgettable bunny girl keeps becoming completely invisible.
The light novel series has also inspired manga adaptations of its volumes.
