Demon Slayer and TOHO Cinemas Collaborate on Video for Theatre Etiquette

An ufotable-produced Demon Slayer theater etiquette video is scheduled to be displayed at TOHO Cinemas from June 20 JST to July 17 JST, as part of a collaboration involving Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle and the cinema chain.

A preview has been released by Aniplex on YouTube.

TOHO Cinemas has engaged in similar collaborations with anime such as Spy x Family Code: White and My Hero Academia.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle (Gekijoban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen” Daiisshou) is set to debut on July 18 JST in Japan, with international screenings commencing in August. This film is the first installment in a trilogy that will cover the final arc of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba narrative, featuring the Demon Slayer Corps as they face off against the demons in the titular Infinity Castle.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba began with the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, published from 2016 to 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The anime launched in 2019 with its first season, followed by Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train, a TV broadcast version of Mugen Train, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc.

Viz Media summarizes the manga with:
Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
