Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter Welcomes 4 New Cast Members

Four new cast members have been added to the voice cast of the currently airing Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter TV anime series. The series commenced its broadcast in Japan on July 5, 2025. 
The four new cast members are:

• • Tatsumaru Tachibana as Richard Leinster 
• • Saya Horigome as Anna 
• • Toshiya Miyata as Gerard Wainwright

The anime is adapted from the fantasy light novel series created by Riku Nanano and illustrated by cura. It first appeared under Kadokawa’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint on December 20, 2018, and has published 20 volumes by July 2025. A prequel novel was also launched that same month. 
The series began as a web novel on Kakuyomu on October 6, 2017. Additionally, it inspired a 2018 manga adaptation by Tamura Muto, which has published four tankobon volumes as of February 2024. J-Novel Club has licensed both the light novel and manga for English digital release.
Crunchyroll is currently streaming Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter globally. It is also available on Muse Asia and bilibili outside Japan.

After Allen failed the court sorcerer exam, he found himself unable to return home. While looking for employment, an unexpected opportunity arises to become the private tutor of the duke’s daughter. Just as he begins to feel comfortable, he encounters a girl incapable of using magic! Yet, what could be causing her magical block? Allen’s unique teaching methods illuminate the girl’s potential for the future.
