Additionally, per IGN’s version of the trailer, 2026 will see the game arrive on PlayStation 5, alongside the previously mentioned Xbox Series X/S version.
Pre-orders for both the standard and deluxe editions — with the latter offering 3-days early access and cosmetic items like the Sung Jinwoo Costume: Overdrive and Cha Hae-In Emoji set — are now open.
The Solo Leveling ARISE OVERDRIVE developer Netmarble Neo also released a statement highlighting the title’s distinctions from 2024’s mobile and PC title Solo Leveling: ARISE (which will “continue to evolve on its own path”). “What we want to emphasize initially is that Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is a complete game. Instead of depending on randomness when recruiting Hunters or crafting weapons, we’ve structured the game to reward effort and strategy, letting you experience a true sense of accomplishment,” says the official developer note from Development Producer Kim Gwang Hoon. “Every Hunter, Sung Jinwoo and their weapons, and the joy of progression can be achieved and enjoyed entirely through in-game play.”

The note, which also explores the game’s features, states that the developers aimed to “offer new experiences and deeper gameplay tailored for PC and console that couldn’t be explored in ARISE.”
Solo Leveling ARISE OVERDRIVE will feature a 10-chapter main story (it is also noted that the game will include both the original webtoon narrative and “new adventures”) and up to four-player co-op. The developers mention that co-op parties can consist of any mix of characters, allowing players to aura farm with four Sung Jinwoos or incorporate other Hunters into the group.
