©水星・海李／双葉社・「ゆうかわ」製作委員会 Two additional cast members have been revealed for the upcoming There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her TV anime series. The anime is set to premiere in Japan in 2026.
The latest cast members joining the series are Ryohei Kimura as Yuga and Yuko Natsuyoshi as Mikana.

Reincarnated as a mid-tier demon, Youki has one job: Crush the hero’s party. However, upon seeing the party’s priestess, Cecilia, he falls for her intensely. This lovestruck demon now vows to confess his feelings, even if it means betraying the Demon King. Will love flourish between these two bitter enemies?

 will be the chief director for the anime adaptation, with Tomonori Mine (Isekai Onsen Paradise) directing, and Yukie Sugawara (Grandpa and Grandma Turn Young Again) serving as series screenwriter. Mina Osawa (I Have a Crush at Work) is the character designer. Gekkou is responsible for the animation production. <br />
The series began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel by Suisei in 2013. It was later published as a light novel series, illustrated by La-na, by Futabasha’s Monster Bunko imprint from October 30, 2014, to August 29, 2015, with three volumes total. La-na is also credited as the anime’s original character designer.<br />
