Japanese voice actors Kaito Ishikawa and Maaya Uchida have shared the news of their marriage. The announcement was made via their official X/Twitter accounts.

They released a joint statement (translation provided by Japan Anime News) stating:
“To everyone,
We apologize for the unexpected announcement, but we, Maaya Uchida and Kaito Ishikawa, have entered into marriage. We are truly thankful to all the fans who have supported us and to everyone in the industry who has been with us during our careers.
Due to the warm support we’ve received, we have been able to journey this far. As colleagues in the entertainment industry, we hold a special connection as we mutually respect and understand one another’s work. Throughout the time we’ve spent together, we have strongly felt the desire to live our lives side by side, which has led us to this new chapter of marriage.
As we embark on this new milestone, we aspire to carry greater responsibility and to grow as individuals and performers. Maaya Uchida and Kaito Ishikawa are widely recognized voice actors known for their roles in various series. Uchida is famous for her roles in The iDOM@STER Cinderella Girls’ as Ranko Kanzaki, The Rising of the Shield Hero as Melty Q. Melromarc, and My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! as Katarina Claes. She is the older sister of fellow voice actor Yuma Uchida.
Ishikawa is known for roles including Genos in One Punch Man, Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Sakuta Azusagawa in Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus.
