'Angel Densetsu' OVA Debuts on Darkroom

Darkroom, a video streaming platform that focuses on independent, foreign, arthouse and cult classics, is presenting its audience an exciting new anime release: Angel Densetsu.

The two-episode OVA created by Toei is inspired by a renowned manga by Norihiro Yagi (who also developed Claymore) and illustrates the misadventures of a sweet and naive boy named Seiichiro Kitano, who possesses the heart of an angel yet has the menacing appearance of a devil. Time and again, he endeavors and fails to demonstrate that he is not a demon, and he aspires to one day find friends who will see beyond his intimidating exterior.

The Darkroom platform can be accessed as an app from all major platforms including Google and Apple stores and online at www.darkroom.film. Monthly subscriptions are priced at $2.99.

Synopsis: After transferring to Hekikuu High School, Kitano quickly realizes that his fair skin, sharp features, and clumsy social skills lead everyone to conclude that he is a dangerous delinquent or drug user. This is made worse by his terrible luck and social awkwardness, resulting in even more chaos. His polite gestures of friendliness or assistance are persistently misread as threats or acts of violence by classmates and local bullies.
