Toei Animation and Crunchyroll revealed today that starting October 11, the new anime series Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be available for streaming on the Crunchyroll platform. The series intends to deliver to fans an upgraded edition of a beloved Dragon Ball Super storyline.
Inspired by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama‘s original tale, character designs, and creative vision, the new series revisits Beerus’ arrival, the God of Destruction, alongside his pivotal encounter with Goku and will showcase both enhanced and entirely new animation and visuals. Toei Animation, which has produced the Dragon Ball anime since the ’80s, is responsible for the production.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus will be available with subtitles and can be streamed on Crunchyroll in the United States, Canada, Latin America including Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
The series is directed by Matsuto Seya (composition & direction arrangement), Tadayoshi Yamamuro (animation character design & general animation director), Eiichi Nishimura (editing), Yosuke Motoki (compositing director), and Norihito Sumitomo (music).

The voice cast features Masako Nozawa as Son Goku and Kōichi Yamadera as Beerus.
Synopsis: After several years following the intense battle with Majin Buu, Earth has finally experienced a brief moment of peace. Simultaneously, Beerus, the God of Destruction, rouses from his long, deep sleep. Even the Kai and Supreme Kai, cognizant of Beerus’ catastrophic ability to obliterate entire planets, observe his awakening with considerable dread… In the midst of this, Beerus catches wind of a Saiyan who triumphed over Frieza, and suddenly confronts Goku.
With Beerus, the most powerful entity in the universe, targeting Earth, the planet faces severe peril. Thus begins a monumental cosmic clash between the God of Destruction and Goku along with his companions, a confrontation that will reverberate throughout the entire universe.
