©︎河原和音／集英社・「太陽よりも眩しい星」製作委員会 The forthcoming A Star Brighter Than the Sun TV anime series will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video around the globe, commencing on October 2, 2025, coinciding with its premiere date in Japan.
The platform also currently offers several dubs for the series, including English, Deutsch, Español (Spain), Español (Latin America), French, Italiano, Portuguese (Brazil), and Thai.
Aya Kobayashi is at the helm of directing the anime series, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) serving as the screenwriter and Miki Sakurai (The Quintessential Quintuplets) and Natsumi Tabuchi (Nina the Starry Bride) composing the music. Studio KAI is responsible for the animation production.
In the meantime, the main voice cast of the anime features:

The anime is adapted from the romance manga series by Kazune Kawahara, which started serialization in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret on June 11, 2021, and has published 12 volumes as of August 2025. VIZ Media secured the manga’s English release rights in May 2024.
