Entertainment company DeNA has unveiled a collaboration with anime production studio E&H production, focusing on the exploration and enhancement of digital transformation technologies related to the anime production workflow.

Among these innovations is a “Simple Compositing Tool” aimed at boosting the effectiveness and caliber of video storyboards and editing. DeNA states that it intends to commence testing in October.

The proposed development also encompasses the automatic production of rough sketches and skeletal animation, striving to ease the second key animation process while enhancing the outcomes, and further initiatives. The “further” includes technology associated with the creation of motion for generic characters and the production of background art.

E&H production is a nascent studio established by Sunghoo Park (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and Ninja Kamui director) in 2021. In contrast, DeNA was founded in 1999 and engages in diverse sectors, including gaming, healthcare, and sports.
